03 - 1/2 cup (100 g) packed brown sugar
04 - 1/4 cup (85 g) honey
05 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) apple cider or apple juice
06 - 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

09 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional

02 - In a bowl, stir together the chopped apples, brown sugar, honey, apple cider, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
03 - Pour the apple mixture over the kielbasa. Stir until the sausage pieces are evenly coated with the glaze.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, stirring once if possible, until the apples are tender and the sauce is glossy.
05 - Stir gently, taste, and add a small pinch of salt only if needed. Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm with toothpicks.

# Good to know:

01 - Use fully cooked kielbasa or smoked sausage for this recipe.
02 - Keep on warm for serving for up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
03 - For a thicker glaze, cook uncovered on high for the final 20 minutes.
