Slow Cooker Angel Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the chicken

01 - 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast
02 - 3 cloves garlic, chopped or left whole
03 - 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
04 - ¾ cup chicken stock
05 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
06 - ¼ cup butter, softened
07 - 0.6 ounces dry Italian dressing mix (Good Seasons recommended)

→ For serving

08 - 1 pound angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions

# Instructions:

01 - Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray (or use a slow cooker liner for even easier cleanup).
02 - Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker and add the garlic.
03 - Soften the butter and cream cheese in the microwave, then whisk together until smooth. Add the undiluted cream of chicken soup, dry Italian dressing mix, and chicken stock. Whisk until well combined.
04 - Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken breasts. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
05 - About 30 minutes before the cooking time is finished, you can shred the chicken breasts with two forks and continue to cook in the sauce for an even more flavorful result.
06 - Just before the chicken is done, cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Serve the creamy chicken and sauce over the pasta.

# Notes:

01 - Angel Chicken is the ultimate set-it-and-forget-it dinner for busy weeknights—taking just 5 minutes to prep before your slow cooker works its magic.
02 - This rich, creamy dish can also be served over mashed potatoes, biscuits, or rice if you prefer an alternative to angel hair pasta.
03 - The dry Italian dressing mix is essential—don't substitute with prepared dressing as it won't create the same flavor profile.
