01 -
Place a loaf pan into the freezer to chill.
02 -
Set a few Skittles aside for garnish and divide the remaining Skittles by color into 5 small ziploc bags. Use a rolling pin to crush each bag of Skittles.
03 -
Add the crushed Skittles to 5 separate small bowls to keep the colors separated.
04 -
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
05 -
Gently stir in the condensed milk to the cream mixture until combined.
06 -
Divide the mixture between the 5 bowls with the crushed Skittles.
07 -
Add gel food coloring to each bowl to match the color of Skittles until you achieve the desired shade. Use regular food coloring if gel is unavailable, but a larger quantity may be necessary.
08 -
Remove the loaf pan from the freezer and add the colored ice cream mixture into the pan. Separate the colors by creating stripes or spooning in a couple tablespoons of each color at a time.
09 -
Garnish the top of the ice cream with a few leftover Skittles. Place in the freezer and chill for 6-8 hours in a level spot until the ice cream is set.
10 -
Scoop into a cone or bowl to serve. Enjoy!
