Easy Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 (3 ounce) packages instant ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
02 - 1 tablespoon butter
03 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
04 - 3½ tablespoons garlic, minced

→ Sauce

05 - 3½ tablespoons soy sauce
06 - 3 tablespoons brown sugar
07 - 3 teaspoons shallot ginger chili oil
08 - 2 tablespoons reserved ramen water

→ Garnish

09 - 3 tablespoons green onion, chopped
10 - 1 teaspoon roasted sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Cook ramen according to package instructions. Reserve 2 tablespoons cooking water 1 minute before noodles are done, then drain.
02 - Heat butter and sesame oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for two minutes, being careful not to brown.
03 - Remove from heat, add reserved water, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.
04 - Return to heat, add noodles and cook for one minute. Stir in chili oil, scallions, and sesame seeds.

01 - For darker noodles, use a combination of light and dark soy sauce.
02 - Serve immediately for best taste and texture.
