Sausage Egg Cheese Breakfast Sliders (Print Version)

Sausage, eggs, and cheese layered in soft sliders with sweet maple butter, baked until golden and melty.

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 680 g ground pork sausage
02 - 8 large eggs, scrambled

→ Bread

03 - 12 Hawaiian slider buns

→ Cheese

04 - 6 slices pepper jack cheese
05 - 8 slices American cheese

→ Glaze

06 - 115 g unsalted butter, melted
07 - 60 ml maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Shape the ground sausage into 12 equal patties, slightly larger than the buns. Cook the patties in the skillet until they are thoroughly cooked and browned on each side.
03 - Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the buns connected. Place the bottom halves in a 23x33 cm baking dish. Set aside the tops.
04 - Distribute the scrambled eggs evenly on the bottom buns. Layer the pepper jack cheese slices over the eggs. Arrange the sausage patties on top of the cheese, then add the American cheese slices in an even layer. Place the top buns over the assembled fillings.
05 - Stir together the melted butter and maple syrup in a small bowl. Brush the mixture thoroughly over the tops of the buns, letting excess drip down and around the edges.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden and crisp.
07 - Serve the sliders immediately while warm.

# Notes:

01 - For easy scrambled eggs, whisk eggs with a touch of milk and season with salt and pepper before cooking gently.
