# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
04 - ½ teaspoon salt.
05 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened.
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
07 - 1 large egg, room temperature.
08 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
09 - 1 Tablespoon red food coloring.
10 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened.
11 - ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened.
12 - 1¾ cups powdered sugar.
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
14 - Pinch of salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
02 - Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and food coloring. Mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
03 - Scoop dough, roll into balls and flatten slightly. Bake 10-11 minutes until puffed and edges set.
04 - Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat until creamy.
05 - Once cookies are cooled, spread with frosting. Add optional sprinkles before frosting sets.
