Portobello Mushroom Pizza Bake (Print Version)

Savory portobello mushrooms topped with mozzarella, sauce, and vibrant toppings. Oven-baked to perfection.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 4 large portobello mushrooms
02 - 250 ml pizza sauce
03 - 110 g shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Toppings

04 - Toppings of your choice (such as sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, olives)

→ Garnish & Seasoning

05 - Fresh basil leaves, to garnish
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Clean portobello mushrooms thoroughly, trimming stems as needed. Arrange mushrooms gill side up on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - Lightly season each mushroom cap with salt and black pepper.
04 - Distribute approximately 60 ml of pizza sauce into each mushroom cap, spreading evenly.
05 - Top each filled mushroom with shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange selected toppings as desired.
06 - Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbling, and mushrooms are cooked through.
07 - Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - For a crispier texture, drain excess liquid released by mushrooms during baking before adding garnish.
