Clean portobello mushrooms thoroughly, trimming stems as needed. Arrange mushrooms gill side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Lightly season each mushroom cap with salt and black pepper.

Distribute approximately 60 ml of pizza sauce into each mushroom cap, spreading evenly.

Top each filled mushroom with shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange selected toppings as desired.

Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbling, and mushrooms are cooked through.
