02 - 450 grams ground beef
03 - optional: 225 grams chicken gizzards, finely chopped

04 - 120 grams diced green bell pepper
05 - 120 grams diced onion

→ Seasonings and Liquid

06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon Creole or Cajun seasoning
08 - 0.125 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
09 - 0.5 teaspoon celery seed
10 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
11 - 950 milliliters beef broth

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, bell pepper, and onion until the meat is well browned and vegetables are tender.
02 - Stir in garlic powder, Creole or Cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, celery seed, and black pepper until the mixture is evenly coated.
03 - Pour in beef broth and bring the contents to a boil. Stir in the long grain rice.
04 - Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork, taste, and adjust seasoning as desired before serving.
