Pizza Stuffed Waffles Snacks (Print Version)

Crispy waffles with melted cheese, pepperoni, and tangy pizza sauce in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Batter

01 - 125 grams all-purpose flour
02 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
03 - 1 pinch salt
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
06 - 120 millilitres milk
07 - 60 millilitres vegetable oil
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Filling

09 - 3 tablespoons pizza sauce
10 - 50 grams sliced pepperoni
11 - 30 grams shredded mozzarella cheese

# Instructions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly blended.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk egg with sugar, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
03 - Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
04 - Lightly coat the surface of the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and preheat according to manufacturer's instructions.
05 - Pour portions of batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden and set.
06 - Remove waffles and slice each horizontally into two halves.
07 - Spread pizza sauce evenly over the bottom waffle halves. Distribute mozzarella and arrange sliced pepperoni on top.
08 - Place topped waffle halves on a tray and broil briefly until the cheese is just melted.
09 - Cover fillings with the top halves of the waffles, press gently, and serve immediately.

01 - For crispier waffles, allow them to cool on a wire rack before assembling to prevent excess moisture.
