01 -
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place a rack in a large roasting pan.
02 -
Set the ham cut side down on the rack. Pour 1/2 cup pineapple juice into the pan, cover tightly with foil, and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, until the center is warm but not finished.
03 -
Combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup pineapple juice, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, stirring often, until glossy and lightly thickened.
04 -
Remove the foil and pat the top of the ham dry. Arrange pineapple rings over the ham and add cherries in the centers if using. Secure with cloves or toothpicks if needed.
05 -
Brush the ham generously with glaze. Bake uncovered for 25-35 minutes, brushing with more glaze every 10 minutes, until sticky and caramelized and the internal temperature reaches the package's recommended reheating temperature, usually 140°F for many fully cooked hams.
06 -
Transfer the ham to a board and rest for 15-20 minutes. Spoon warm pan glaze over the slices and serve with the roasted pineapple.
