Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups (Print version)

Flaky, cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups baked until golden and served with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

# Ingredients:

For the roll-ups

01 - 1 can (8 oz / 226 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough, 8 triangles
02 - 24 thin pepperoni slices, about 3 oz (85 g)
03 - 3/4 cup (85 g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
04 - 1 cup (240 ml) pizza sauce or marinara, warmed for dipping

For the topping

05 - 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
08 - 2 tablespoons (10 g) grated Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 375 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so the roll-ups release easily if a little cheese melts out.
02 - Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Gently pat each triangle a little wider without tearing it.
03 - Place 3 pepperoni slices on the wide end of each triangle. Add about 1 1/2 tablespoons mozzarella over the pepperoni, keeping the cheese away from the edges.
04 - Roll each triangle from the wide end toward the point. Tuck the sides in slightly and place each roll-up seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the dough is puffed, golden, and cooked through at the seams.
06 - Stir the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush over the hot roll-ups, sprinkle with Parmesan, and serve warm with heated pizza sauce for dipping.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served warm, 5-10 minutes after baking.
02 - Assemble up to 2 hours ahead and refrigerate until ready to bake.
03 - Per-serving nutrition is an estimate for 2 roll-ups with a little dipping sauce.
