# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet of puff pastry or flatbread
02 - 2 pears, finely sliced
03 - 4 oz (120g) Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
04 - 1/4 cup (60ml) honey
05 - 1 cup (30g) ground walnuts
06 - A few leaves of arugula
07 - 1 tbsp olive oil
08 - Freshly cracked black pepper

→ Alternate Substitutions

09 - Blue cheese or goat cheese can replace Gorgonzola
10 - Pecans can replace walnuts for variation

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and place it on a baking tray. If using flatbread, place it directly on the baking sheet.
02 - Evenly drizzle olive oil over the puff pastry or flatbread base to enhance flavor and prevent sticking.
03 - Arrange the pear slices slightly overlapping to cover the entire base.
04 - Sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese evenly over the pear slices.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and golden and the cheese has melted.
06 - Remove the flatbread from the oven. Drizzle generously with honey, top with ground walnuts, arugula leaves, and freshly cracked black pepper.
