Easy 4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Fudge (Print version)

Creamy microwave peanut butter fudge made with 4 pantry ingredients and no candy thermometer.

# Ingredients:

For the fudge

01 - 1 cup (227 g) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
02 - 1 cup (258 g) creamy peanut butter
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 3 1/2 cups (420 g) powdered sugar, sifted

# Instructions:

01 - Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides for lifting the fudge out later.
02 - Add butter and peanut butter to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 90 seconds, stir well, then microwave 60-90 seconds more until fully melted and hot.
03 - Carefully stir the hot mixture until smooth, then mix in the vanilla extract.
04 - Add the sifted powdered sugar and stir with a sturdy spoon until fully combined. The mixture will become thick and less glossy.
05 - Scrape the fudge into the prepared pan. Press it into an even layer and smooth the top with a spatula or a piece of parchment.
06 - Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm. Lift out by the parchment and cut into 36 small squares.

# Good to know:

01 - Chill time is about 2 hours and is not included in the cook time.
02 - Use conventional creamy peanut butter for the most reliable set.
03 - Store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
