onion cottage cheese tart (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 250 g cottage cheese
02 - 50 g grated parmigiano
03 - 1 egg
04 - 40 g pearl onions, 3-4 onions
05 - 1/3 tsp salt
06 - 2 tbsp olive oil
07 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Crust

08 - 1 pie crust, store-bought or homemade

# Instructions:

01 - Press a pie crust into a tart pan. Prick the bottom and sides of the crust with a fork. Pre-bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes.
02 - In a mixing bowl, crack and lightly whisk an egg. Add the cottage cheese, grated parmigiano, and salt. Stir well to combine.
03 - Peel and thinly slice the pearl onions lengthways. Lightly brush the top side of the slices with olive oil.
04 - Remove the pre-baked crust from the oven. Spread the cheese and egg mixture evenly over the base.
05 - Arrange the thinly sliced onions over the filling, with the oiled side facing up. Dust with freshly cracked black pepper.
06 - Return the tart to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes at 200°C, until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

01 - Serve the tart warm with a side salad and a glass of white wine for a complete meal.
