Old Time Oven Peach Cobbler (Print Version)

Classic peach cobbler baked golden, topped with vanilla ice cream.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 large can sliced peaches, drained
02 - 1 cup Bisquick mix
03 - 1 cup milk
04 - 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
05 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
06 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
07 - 1 cup sugar
08 - Vanilla ice cream (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
02 - In an 8 x 8 inch baking dish, combine Bisquick mix, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir together until thoroughly mixed. Add melted butter and stir gently.
03 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine sugar and drained sliced peaches. Mix until evenly coated.
04 - Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the cobbler crust in the baking dish.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the crust is golden brown.
06 - Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.

01 - For a deeper flavor, substitute brown sugar for white sugar in the peach mixture.
