Non-Alcoholic Cotton Candy Drink for Parties (Print version)
A fizzy, colorful party mocktail made with cotton candy and raspberry ginger ale in about 5 minutes.
# Ingredients:
For the drinks

1 bag (3 oz or 85 g) pink cotton candy, divided

1 bottle (2 liters) raspberry ginger ale, well chilled
03 -
1 cup (240 ml) sparkling water or lemon-lime soda, optional for adjusting sweetness
04 -
1 cup ice cubes, optional
For garnish
05 -
2 tablespoons pink or white sanding sugar
06 -
1 lemon wedge or 1 tablespoon water, for wetting rims
07 -
8 maraschino cherries
08 -
Extra small tufts of cotton candy, for topping
# Instructions:

Refrigerate the raspberry ginger ale until very cold. Cold soda holds bubbles better and keeps the drink crisp.

Rub the rims of 8 small glasses with a lemon wedge or a little water. Dip the rims in sanding sugar and let them stand for 1 minute.

Place a loose tuft of cotton candy in each glass. Add a few ice cubes if using, but do not pack the cotton candy down.

Slowly pour chilled raspberry ginger ale over the cotton candy, using about 1 cup per glass. Add a splash of sparkling water if you want it less sweet.

Top each glass with a small fresh tuft of cotton candy and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately before the fizz fades.
