Passover Charoset (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fruits

01 - 1 Granny Smith apple
02 - 2 Gala apples

→ Nuts

03 - 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

→ Sweeteners

04 - 1 1/2 tablespoons raw honey
05 - Brown sugar, to taste

→ Spices

06 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
07 - Dash of nutmeg
08 - Dash of clove

→ Liquids

09 - 3-4 tablespoons sweet Kosher red wine (Manischewitz Blackberry or similar)

# Instructions:

01 - Peel all apples completely.
02 - Cut apples into very small pieces. Optionally blend a portion for a creamier texture.
03 - Place diced apple in a large bowl and add walnuts, honey, cinnamon, wine, nutmeg, and clove.
04 - Taste the mixture and add brown sugar as needed to reach desired sweetness level.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
