Preheat oven to 177 °C. Lightly coat a 23x33 cm baking pan with non-stick spray.

Without separating, slice entire block of rolls horizontally. Arrange bottom halves in prepared pan.

Distribute half of Swiss cheese slices over rolls. Add all ham, then all turkey. Layer remaining cheese slices on top.

Place roll tops over layered fillings to close.

In a bowl, whisk melted butter with egg and black pepper. Brush evenly over roll tops.

Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese melts and tops are golden brown. Tent loosely with foil if browning too rapidly.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with optional jam for dipping.
