Easy Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles (Print Version)

Ground beef noodles with Mongolian-style sauce—ginger, garlic, hoisin, and green onions for easy flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 450 g lean ground beef
02 - 4 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
03 - 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
04 - 180 g linguine noodles

→ Sauce Mixture

05 - 120 ml low sodium soy sauce
06 - 120 ml beef broth
07 - 50 g brown sugar
08 - 6 tablespoons hoisin sauce
09 - 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
10 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Garnish

11 - 4 green onions, finely sliced
12 - Toasted sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Heat a medium, high-sided skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef along with minced ginger and garlic. Cook thoroughly, breaking the meat into fine crumbles. Drain excess fat and return the pan to the heat.
02 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add linguine noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
03 - In a bowl, blend soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, red pepper flakes, and black pepper until homogenous.
04 - Pour the prepared sauce mixture into the skillet with browned beef. Stir to combine and let simmer for 3 minutes to infuse flavors.
05 - Add drained linguine to the skillet. Toss thoroughly to coat noodles in the sauce and beef mixture. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
06 - Transfer to serving plates and garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

# Notes:

01 - For a richer flavor, use freshly grated ginger and garlic rather than pre-minced alternatives.
