Molten Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 tablespoons salted butter.
02 - 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
03 - 3 large eggs, room temperature.
04 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
05 - 2 tablespoons vanilla extract.
06 - ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour.
07 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder.
08 - ½ teaspoon baking soda.
09 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt.
10 - 6 ounces dark or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped.
11 - Flaky sea salt for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Microwave butter and chocolate chips until melted. Whisk eggs and sugar until bubbly, about 2 minutes. Add vanilla and melted chocolate until glossy.
03 - Mix in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chunks. Freeze dough 30 minutes until scoop-able.
04 - Scoop ¼ cup dough balls onto parchment. Freeze 15-30 minutes until firm.
05 - Place frozen dough balls 2 inches apart. Bake 8-12 minutes until edges set but centers stay doughy.
06 - Sprinkle with sea salt. Serve warm or store up to 4 days.

# Notes:

01 - Dough can be frozen up to 3 months.
02 - If dough is too soft, add flour ¼ cup at a time.
