01 -
Set the oven to 200°C and allow it to thoroughly preheat.
02 -
In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano, garlic powder, and kosher salt until browned, stirring frequently. Remove any excess fat.
03 -
Allow the cooked beef to cool slightly, then fold in 80 milliliters (about 1/3 cup) of pizza sauce.
04 -
Unroll the pizza dough onto a shallow-sided baking sheet.
05 -
Spread 120 milliliters (about 1/2 cup) pizza sauce down the center of the dough. Layer provolone slices, pepperoni, the prepared beef, and mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
06 -
Slice the dough at 2.5 cm intervals along both sides toward the filling. Alternately fold the strips over the center to encase the toppings.
07 -
Brush the surface of the loaf with melted butter, then sprinkle grated Parmesan and remaining oregano evenly over the top.
08 -
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is deeply golden and cooked through.
09 -
Warm the reserved pizza sauce and offer alongside the finished bread as a dipping accompaniment.
