Creamy Marry Me Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Salmon

01 - 4 skinless salmon filets
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
03 - 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
04 - ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
05 - ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper

→ Cream Sauce

06 - 3 tablespoons butter
07 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
08 - 3 tablespoons flour
09 - 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
10 - ¾ cup heavy cream
11 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan
12 - 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained
13 - 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
14 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
15 - Fresh basil for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Brush salmon filets with olive oil and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet
03 - In same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add flour and stir to make a paste
04 - Whisk in chicken broth, heavy cream, and parmesan. Add sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and lemon zest. Season to taste and simmer until thickened
05 - Return salmon to skillet and simmer over medium-low heat for 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil and additional lemon zest if desired
06 - Serve warm over pasta or rice
