Maple Bacon Cheeseburger Quesadillas (Print Version)

Beef, bacon, cheddar, and maple syrup create a savory-sweet quesadilla with a crisp golden edge.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Black pepper, to taste
06 - 1 cup (approximately 120 g) cooked bacon, crumbled
07 - 2 to 3 tablespoons (30–45 ml) maple syrup

→ Quesadillas

08 - 4 large flour tortillas
09 - 180 g shredded cheddar or American cheese
10 - Butter or spray, for grilling

→ Optional Additions

11 - Sliced pickles
12 - Mustard drizzle
13 - Caramelized onions

# Instructions:

01 - In a skillet set over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly browned. Drain any excess fat.
02 - Stir in the crumbled cooked bacon and lightly drizzle with maple syrup. Mix until the beef is evenly coated and the syrup is distributed.
03 - Lay each tortilla flat and arrange half of the cheese on one side. Layer with the warm beef and bacon mixture, top with the remaining cheese, and include additional options such as pickles, mustard, or caramelized onions if desired. Fold each tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
04 - Preheat a buttered non-stick skillet over medium heat. Grill the folded quesadillas for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
05 - Allow the quesadillas to cool slightly before slicing into wedges. Present with additional maple syrup or a preferred dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use freshly shredded cheese for optimal melting and texture.
