Lunchroom Ladies Brownies Chocolate (Print Version)

Fudgy, nostalgic chocolate brownies made with pantry staples, perfect for any sweet craving.

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 200 g granulated sugar
02 - 120 g plain flour
03 - 25 g unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 2 g baking powder
05 - 2 g fine salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 115 g unsalted butter, melted
08 - 5 ml vanilla extract

→ Optional Add-ins

09 - 60 g chopped walnuts

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a 20x20 cm baking dish.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until evenly blended.
03 - Add eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Stir with a spatula or wooden spoon until a smooth batter forms.
04 - If using, gently fold in the chopped walnuts until just distributed.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
06 - Allow to cool completely in the dish. Cut into squares before serving.

01 - For chewy brownies, avoid over-baking; remove from the oven when the center is just set.
