Lebanese Kafta Kebabs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 600 grams lean ground beef
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, quartered
03 - 1 cup fresh parsley, washed and patted dry

→ Seasonings

04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 1/4 teaspoon seven spice blend
07 - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a food processor, pulse quartered onion and fresh parsley until finely chopped.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped parsley-onion mixture, and all spices. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
03 - Mold meat mixture around skewers, forming 1 to 1.5 inch thick kebabs.
04 - Preheat gas grill to medium-high and brush with oil. Grill kebabs for about 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

# Notes:

01 - Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using
02 - Can substitute allspice for seven spice blend
03 - Can be shaped into patties and baked at 375°F for 15-20 minutes
04 - Leftovers keep 3-4 days refrigerated or 3 months frozen
