Jalapeno Hot Sauce Recipe (Print Version)

01 - 8 ounces jalapeno peppers, chopped (about 4-5 large or 8 average sized)
02 - 1 ounce white onion, chopped
03 - 1 ounce garlic, chopped
04 - 1/2 cup white vinegar
05 - 1/4 cup lime juice
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Process until completely smooth.
02 - Transfer mixture to a small saucepan. Simmer gently for 10 minutes to blend flavors. Be careful not to use too high heat as it can darken the color. Let cool slightly.
03 - Taste and adjust salt and lime juice as needed. Strain if desired for a smoother sauce.
04 - Pour into bottles and let rest. For best results, allow flavors to meld for 24 hours before using.
