Italian Drunken Noodles Delight (Print Version)

Saucy noodles loaded up with Parmesan, basil, and a delicious mix of flavors you’ll want again and again.

# Ingredients:

01 - Salt and pepper, use as much as you like
02 - 1/4 cup freshly chopped basil
03 - 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
04 - 3 garlic cloves, smashed or chopped up nice and fine
05 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
07 - 1/2 cup white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
08 - 2 tablespoons good olive oil
09 - 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
10 - 8 oz fettuccine or wide rice noodles
11 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, or however spicy you want
12 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

# Instructions:

01 - Turn off the heat. Sprinkle in the chopped basil and the Parmesan. Plate right away and throw a little extra basil and cheese on top if you want.
02 - Drop your cooked noodles into the skillet. Mix everything so the noodles are soaked with the sauce. Toss in the crushed red pepper, then taste and season with salt and pepper.
03 - Dump in the white wine or use chicken broth, then add the soy sauce and the balsamic vinegar. Give it a good mix and let it bubble for a couple minutes.
04 - Toss in the bell pepper strips and your halved tomatoes. Keep them moving in the pan for about 5 or 6 minutes, so they're soft but not mushy.
05 - Warm up your olive oil in a giant pan over medium. Toss the minced garlic in. Give it a minute, just until you can smell it floating through the kitchen.
06 - Get a pot of water boiling, then add your noodles. Cook them how the package tells you. Drain and leave them hanging out for a bit.
