01 - 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
02 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
03 - 1 tablespoon butter
04 - 1 medium onion, diced
05 - 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
06 - 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 4 tablespoons tomato paste
08 - 1 tablespoon garam masala
09 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
10 - 1 teaspoon cumin
11 - 1 teaspoon salt
12 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
13 - 1 cup heavy cream

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onions and cook until lightly golden, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced ginger and garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
02 - Add the chicken chunks, tomato paste, garam masala, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
03 - Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
04 - Serve the butter chicken over basmati rice or with naan bread.
