Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch springform pan or round cake pan with cooking spray.

Spread sliced almonds on a small baking tray and toast for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Remove and let cool.

In a medium bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, oil, vanilla extract, and almond extract until smooth.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until mixture is smooth.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle toasted almond slices evenly over top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until top is lightly golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Let cool in pan, then dust with powdered sugar and additional raw almond slices if desired.
