Easy Hot Fudge Brownie Bread (Print version)

A rich chocolate dessert loaf made with brownie mix and hot fudge sauce, baked until sliceable with a soft fudgy center.

# Ingredients:

For the loaf

01 - Nonstick spray or softened butter, for the pan
02 - 1 box (18-20 oz / 510-570 g) fudge brownie mix
03 - 3 large eggs, room temperature
04 - 1/3 cup (80 ml) neutral oil
05 - 1 jar (11-12 oz / 310-340 g) thick hot fudge sauce, room temperature
06 - 1/2 cup (85 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

For serving

07 - 2 tablespoons warm hot fudge sauce, optional
08 - Vanilla ice cream, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the long sides.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, and room-temperature hot fudge sauce until glossy and mostly smooth.
03 - Add the brownie mix and stir just until no dry streaks remain. Fold in the chocolate chips without overmixing.
04 - Spread the thick batter into the prepared pan. Smooth the top and tap the pan gently on the counter to settle the batter.
05 - Bake for 45-55 minutes, until the top is set and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with moist crumbs but no wet batter.
06 - Cool in the pan for at least 45 minutes, then lift out with the parchment. Slice when fully cooled and drizzle with warm fudge sauce if desired.

# Good to know:

01 - Best texture comes after the loaf cools completely.
02 - Use a metal loaf pan for the most predictable baking time.
03 - Warm individual slices for 10 seconds before serving.
