Hot Cocoa Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed.
02 - 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate, chopped.
03 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
04 - 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
07 - 1 1/4 cups brown sugar.
08 - 3 large eggs.
09 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla.
10 - 12 large marshmallows, halved.
11 - Chocolate Icing:.
12 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
13 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted.
14 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder.
15 - 2 tablespoons hot water.
16 - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
17 - Sprinkles for decoration.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter and chocolate in microwave, cool 15 minutes.
02 - Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
03 - Beat sugar, eggs, vanilla, then mix in cooled chocolate.
04 - Add flour mixture in 2 batches until combined.
05 - Chill dough 1 hour minimum.
06 - Form tablespoon-sized balls, bake at 325°F for 10-12 minutes.
07 - Add marshmallow halves, bake 3 more minutes.
08 - Cool completely, top with chocolate icing and sprinkles.
09 - Let icing set 30-60 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Dough will be sticky like brownies.
02 - Chill at least 1 hour.
03 - Add marshmallows face down.
04 - Ice cookies while on cooling rack.
