Honeyed Fig Pecan Baked Brie (Print Version)

Creamy Brie, figs, pecans, and honey meld for a warm, crowd-pleasing appetizer fit for any occasion.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 wheel (approximately 200 g) Brie cheese
02 - 1 cup (150 g) dried figs, chopped
03 - 1/4 cup (85 g) honey
04 - 1/2 cup (60 g) pecans, chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon (2 g) fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
06 - 1 baguette or assorted crackers, for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 175°C.
02 - Place the Brie cheese wheel in the centre of a shallow, oven-safe dish.
03 - In a medium bowl, mix together chopped dried figs, honey, and chopped pecans. Stir in rosemary if using.
04 - Distribute the fig and nut mixture evenly over the surface of the Brie.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is soft and beginning to ooze.
06 - Remove from the oven and serve warm alongside sliced baguette or assorted crackers.

01 - For optimal consistency, use room temperature Brie and avoid over-baking to prevent excessive melting.
