Easy Honey-Soy Glazed Cod (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Glaze

01 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
02 - 2 tablespoons honey
03 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
04 - 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
05 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
06 - 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
07 - 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds

→ Main Ingredients

08 - 2 cod filets (5-6 oz each)
09 - 1 tablespoon green onions, sliced diagonally

# Instructions:

01 - Mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds in a small bowl.
02 - Pat cod filets dry and place in a glass dish. Brush with 1 tablespoon glaze, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Reserve remaining glaze.
03 - Position oven rack near the top and preheat broiler to low. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place cod filets on it.
04 - Broil on low for 12-14 minutes, brushing with glaze every 2-3 minutes. Switch to high broil for 4-5 minutes until browned and internal temperature reaches 135-140°F.
05 - Transfer to serving plates and garnish with sliced green onions.

# Notes:

01 - Can substitute cod with halibut, rockfish, black cod, lingcod, or haddock
02 - Brown sugar or maple syrup can replace honey
03 - Double the glaze recipe to serve extra sauce alongside
