Mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds in a small bowl.

Pat cod filets dry and place in a glass dish. Brush with 1 tablespoon glaze, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Reserve remaining glaze.

Position oven rack near the top and preheat broiler to low. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place cod filets on it.

Broil on low for 12-14 minutes, brushing with glaze every 2-3 minutes. Switch to high broil for 4-5 minutes until browned and internal temperature reaches 135-140°F.

Transfer to serving plates and garnish with sliced green onions.
