Honey Ham Biscuit Sliders (Print version)

Flaky biscuit sliders layered with ham, Swiss, honey mustard, and a glossy honey butter topping.

# Ingredients:

For the sliders

01 - 1 can (16.3 oz / 462 g) refrigerated large flaky biscuits, 8 count
02 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) honey mustard, divided
03 - 12 oz (340 g) thin sliced cooked ham
04 - 8 slices Swiss cheese, halved

For the honey butter glaze

05 - 4 tablespoons (56 g) unsalted butter, melted
06 - 2 tablespoons honey
07 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
08 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
10 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake according to the package directions until puffed and light golden, usually 13-16 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.
02 - In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and poppy seeds until smooth.
03 - Use a serrated knife to split each warm biscuit in half. Spread about 1 teaspoon honey mustard on each bottom half.
04 - Fold the ham into loose piles and divide it over the biscuit bottoms. Top each with 2 half-slices of Swiss cheese, then replace the biscuit tops.
05 - Brush the biscuit tops generously with the honey butter glaze. Return the sliders to the oven and bake for 7-9 minutes, until the cheese melts and the tops are glossy and golden.
06 - Sprinkle with parsley if using. Let the sliders rest for 3 minutes, then serve warm with extra honey mustard on the side.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served warm, shortly after the second bake.
02 - Bake the biscuits before filling so the centers stay fluffy.
03 - Leftovers keep refrigerated for up to 3 days.
