Heavenly Chicken Mushroom Pasta (Print Version)

01 - 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
02 - 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
03 - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
04 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
05 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 tbsp olive oil
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - Fresh parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and cook for 7-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and sliced mushrooms for 5 minutes until softened.
04 - Pour chicken broth into the skillet, bring to a simmer, and reduce by half (about 3-4 minutes). Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 2 minutes until thickened.
05 - Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
06 - Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
