Savor sweet-salty beef burgers topped with pineapple, teriyaki onions, fresh tomato, lettuce, and toasted buns.

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 680 g ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Burger Assembly

05 - 4 hamburger buns, toasted
06 - 4 pineapple rings, canned or fresh
07 - 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
08 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
09 - 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
10 - 4 lettuce leaves
11 - 4 slices tomato

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef with 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix just until combined and shape into four equal patties.
02 - Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to a large skillet or grill pan and heat over medium-high temperature.
03 - Place the patties onto the heated surface and cook for 4 to 6 minutes per side, depending on preferred doneness. During the last 2 minutes, glaze each patty with the remaining 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce.
04 - While patties are cooking, grill pineapple rings directly over the heat for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until grill marks appear and caramelised. Alternatively, pan-fry until lightly browned.
05 - In the same skillet or a separate pan, cook sliced red onion over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and caramelised. For enhanced flavour, add a splash of teriyaki sauce during the final minute.
06 - Arrange a cooked patty onto the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add a grilled pineapple ring on top, followed by caramelised onions, one lettuce leaf, and a slice of tomato. Cap with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Avoid overmixing the ground beef to maintain a tender patty texture. Toasting buns prevents sogginess from the sauces and toppings.
