Hawaiian Mai Tai Drink (Print Version)

Bright, tropical Hawaiian Mai Tai with rum, lime, and orgeat. Perfectly shaken for a refreshing cocktail experience.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - Ice cubes
02 - 1 medium lime
03 - 30 ml white rum
04 - 30 ml dark rum
05 - 22 ml orgeat syrup
06 - 15 ml Grand Marnier

→ Garnish

07 - Lime wheel
08 - Fresh mint sprig
09 - Maraschino cherry

# Instructions:

01 - Fill a rocks or old fashioned glass with ice cubes.
02 - Juice the lime until you have 30 ml of fresh lime juice.
03 - Add the lime juice, white rum, dark rum, orgeat syrup, and Grand Marnier to a cocktail shaker.
04 - Fill the shaker with ice, seal, and shake vigorously until the exterior feels frosty, approximately 20 seconds.
05 - Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the prepared glass filled with ice.
06 - Finish with a lime wheel, fresh mint sprig, or maraschino cherry as desired.

# Notes:

01 - Orange curaçao or Cointreau can replace Grand Marnier in equal measure.
02 - For a rum float, omit the dark rum from the shaker. After straining, pour the dark rum over the finished drink before garnishing.
