In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, teriyaki sauce, honey, and cayenne pepper. Stir until smooth and set aside.

Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Grill pineapple and red bell pepper rings until charred marks appear and vegetables are slightly tender.

Season ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into 4 equally sized patties. Grill over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side. After flipping, brush each patty with teriyaki sauce, top with a slice of provolone, and cook until cheese is melted and patties are cooked through, about 4 additional minutes.

Melt butter in a griddle or skillet over medium heat. Toast onion roll halves, cut sides down, until golden brown.

Spread prepared sauce on both sides of each toasted roll. Layer bottom halves with beef patties, two pineapple rings, red onion slices, grilled bell pepper, and lettuce leaves. Cap with the top halves. Serve immediately with extra sauce alongside.
