Ham and Bean Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, chopped.
03 - 2 carrots, chopped.
04 - 2 celery stalks, chopped.
05 - 4 garlic cloves, minced.
06 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme.
07 - 6 cups chicken broth.
08 - 2 bay leaves.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
10 - 4 cans white beans, drained.
11 - 2 cups pulled ham.
12 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Cook onion, carrots, celery in oil until tender, 8-10 minutes.
02 - Add garlic and thyme, cook 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Add broth, bay leaves, pepper. Boil then simmer 5-10 minutes.
04 - Add beans and ham. Simmer 10-15 minutes until hot.

# Notes:

01 - Can thicken with flour or blending.
02 - Use any type of broth.
