Ground Turkey Sweet Potato Skillet (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 450 grams ground turkey
02 - 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
03 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 bell pepper, diced

→ Seasonings and oils

06 - 1 teaspoon paprika
07 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Garnish

11 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Dice sweet potatoes, bell pepper and onion. Mince the garlic. Chop fresh parsley for garnish.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until translucent, about 3–4 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Add ground turkey to the skillet. Break meat apart with a spatula and cook until fully browned, approximately 5–7 minutes.
04 - Add diced sweet potatoes and bell pepper. Sprinkle with paprika, cumin, salt and black pepper. Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
05 - Cover skillet and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sweet potatoes are fork-tender. Add a splash of water if mixture becomes too dry.
06 - Remove skillet from heat and top with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
