Set oven temperature to 175°C (350°F) and allow to fully preheat.

Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat thoroughly.

Transfer cooked beef to a large mixing bowl. Add condensed cream of mushroom soup, condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup, frozen cubed potatoes, 60 g of the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly combined.

Lightly grease a 23 x 33 cm (9 x 13 inch) baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared dish.

Sprinkle the remaining 60 g shredded cheddar cheese over the surface. Cover the dish tightly with aluminium foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Carefully remove foil, then continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until the casserole is heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
