Easy Green Punch for Parties (Print version)

A fizzy green party punch made with lime sherbet, pineapple juice, lemon-lime soda, and fresh lime in about 5 minutes.

# Ingredients:

For the punch

01 - 1/2 gallon (1.9 L) lime sherbet, frozen
02 - 1 can (46 oz / 1.36 L) pineapple juice, well chilled
03 - 1 bottle (2 liters) lemon-lime soda, well chilled
04 - 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, plus more to taste

For garnish

05 - 2 limes, thinly sliced
06 - 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, optional
07 - 1/3 cup maraschino cherries, drained, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Scoop the lime sherbet into balls. Place half of the scoops in a large punch bowl and keep the rest in the freezer for topping.
02 - Pour the chilled pineapple juice and fresh lime juice over the sherbet. Stir gently until the edge of the sherbet begins to foam into the juice.
03 - Slowly add the chilled lemon-lime soda down the side of the punch bowl. Stir once or twice, just enough to combine without knocking out all the bubbles.
04 - Float the remaining sherbet scoops, lime slices, mint leaves, and cherries on top. Serve right away in small cups.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served immediately after adding the soda.
02 - Scoop sherbet ahead and freeze the scoops on a lined tray for cleaner party prep.
03 - Makes about 18 small party servings.
