Gingerbread Waffles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
05 - 3/4 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
07 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon cloves.
10 - 4 large eggs, separated.
11 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
12 - 1 cup milk.
13 - 1/2 cup Greek yogurt.
14 - 3 tablespoons molasses.
15 - 1 cup sugar for syrup.
16 - 1/2 cup butter for syrup.
17 - 1 cup heavy cream for syrup.
18 - 2 teaspoons vanilla for syrup.
19 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda for syrup.

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk flour, sugar, leaveners, salt and spices.
02 - Combine yolks, oil, milk, yogurt and molasses.
03 - Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
04 - Mix wet into dry ingredients, fold in egg whites.
05 - Cook in greased waffle iron per manufacturer instructions.
06 - Cook sugar, butter and cream 3-5 minutes. Add vanilla and baking soda.

01 - Can freeze waffles 3 months.
