Easy Garlic Rosemary Focaccia Muffins (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1.5 pounds store-bought pizza dough
02 - ½ scant cup extra virgin olive oil

→ Flavoring

03 - 8 cloves garlic, chopped
04 - 4 sprigs fresh rosemary, leaves removed and chopped
05 - Flaky salt

# Instructions:

01 - Place pizza dough in lightly greased bowl and bring to room temperature. Cut into 12 even pieces using bench scraper or knife. Avoid overworking the dough.
02 - Pour 1 teaspoon olive oil into each cup of a standard muffin pan.
03 - Gently shape each piece of dough into a rough ball and place in oiled muffin cup. Cover with towel and let rest near preheating oven (400°F).
04 - Heat remaining olive oil over medium heat. When hot (test with a drop of water - it should sizzle), remove from heat and add chopped garlic and rosemary. Stir until sizzling stops.
05 - Spoon herb oil generously over each dough ball, using all of it. Press fingers into dough to create dimples and help herbs adhere. Sprinkle with flaky salt.
06 - Bake for 14-16 minutes at 400°F. Cover loosely with foil if tops brown too quickly.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh pizza dough can be found in refrigerated bakery section
02 - Avoid overworking dough to keep air bubbles for fluffier texture
03 - Letting dough rest creates better flavor and texture
