Sesame Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Large egg (1).
02 - Cornstarch (2 tablespoons).
03 - Salt and pepper (pinch each).
04 - Boneless skinless chicken thighs (1 pound).
05 - Cooking oil (2 tablespoons).
06 - Soy sauce (1/4 cup).
07 - Water (2 tablespoons).
08 - Toasted sesame oil (1 tablespoon).
09 - Brown sugar (3 tablespoons).
10 - Rice vinegar (1 tablespoon).
11 - Fresh ginger, grated (1 teaspoon).
12 - Garlic, minced (2 cloves).
13 - Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon).
14 - Cornstarch for sauce (1/2 tablespoon).
15 - Jasmine rice, cooked (4 cups).
16 - Green onions (2 whole).

# Instructions:

01 - Mix soy sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, and sesame seeds in small bowl.
02 - Whisk egg, cornstarch, salt and pepper. Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces and coat in mixture.
03 - Heat oil in large skillet. Cook chicken undisturbed until golden, then flip and continue cooking until done.
04 - Pour sauce over chicken, cook until thickened. Serve over rice topped with green onions.

# Notes:

01 - Minimize stirring chicken to maintain coating.
02 - Pan should be very hot before adding chicken.
