Easy Mini Halloween Pizzas (Print version)

Crispy mini tortilla pizzas topped with cheese ghosts, olive spiders, mummies, and cheddar pumpkins for an easy Halloween snack.

# Ingredients:

For the crusts

01 - 3 thin 10-inch flour tortillas
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, for brushing
03 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) pizza sauce

For the decorations

04 - 4 slices low-moisture mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 cup (115 g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
06 - 2 slices cheddar cheese
07 - 6 large black olives, pitted
08 - 1 small piece green bell pepper
09 - Pinch of dried oregano, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400 F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick foil.
02 - Cut six 4 1/2 to 5-inch circles from the flour tortillas. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
03 - Cook the tortilla rounds in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly golden and crisp. Transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Cut mozzarella into ghost shapes and thin mummy strips. Cut cheddar into pumpkin shapes. Slice olives into eyes, spider bodies, and legs. Cut a tiny bell pepper stem for the pumpkin.
05 - Spread about 2 teaspoons of pizza sauce on each crust. Add shredded mozzarella to one crust for the spider pizza. Bake for 5-6 minutes, until the sauce is hot and bubbling at the edges.
06 - Remove the tray from the oven. Arrange the cheese shapes and olive pieces on the hot pizzas, then return to the oven for 1-2 minutes, just until the cheese softens but still holds its shape.
07 - Let the mini pizzas cool for 2 minutes before serving so the toppings settle and the crusts are easier to pick up.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served warm, shortly after baking.
02 - Prep the cheese and olive decorations ahead for faster party assembly.
03 - Use thin tortillas for the crispiest crust.
