Crockpot Bourbon Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds chicken thighs.
02 - Kosher salt and pepper.
03 - 1/3 cup bourbon.
04 - 3/4 cup brown sugar.
05 - 3/4 cup soy sauce.
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
07 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch.
08 - 3 tablespoons cold water.

# Instructions:

01 - Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot.
02 - Combine bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic. Pour over chicken.
03 - Cover and cook on low 4 hours or high 3 hours.
04 - Mix cornstarch and water, add to sauce 30 minutes before done.
05 - Serve over rice with green onion garnish.

# Notes:

01 - Can use apple juice instead of bourbon.
02 - Thighs stay more tender than breasts.
