Crock-Pot Spiced Apple Cake (Print Version)

Moist apple cake with spiced flavors, oats, and walnuts, slow-cooked for a hands-off sweet treat.

01 - 470 g boxed spice cake mix
02 - 820 g canned apple pie filling
03 - 170 g unsalted butter, melted
04 - 100 g quick-cooking oats
05 - 100 g chopped walnuts (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the spice cake mix, quick-cooking oats, and melted unsalted butter in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until crumbly.
02 - Spread the canned apple pie filling evenly over the bottom of a 5–6 litre slow cooker.
03 - Distribute the cake mixture evenly over the apple layer.
04 - Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the top, if using.
05 - Cover and cook on HIGH setting for 2 hours.
06 - Serve warm or chilled, optionally accompanied by ice cream or whipped cream.

01 - For a crispier topping, let the cake cool with the lid off for 10 minutes before serving.
