Creamy Strawberry Swirl Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 1 package strawberry cake mix, plus ingredients specified on packaging

→ Cream Cheese Swirl

02 - 225 grams softened cream cheese
03 - 65 grams powdered sugar
04 - 5 milliliters vanilla extract

→ Strawberry Glaze

05 - 150 grams fresh strawberries, mashed
06 - 65 grams granulated sugar
07 - 15 milliliters lemon juice
08 - 3 grams cornstarch, mixed with 15 milliliters water

→ Garnish

09 - Fresh strawberry slices
10 - White chocolate, melted for drizzling

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a 23x33-centimeter baking pan evenly.
02 - Prepare the strawberry cake mix according to package directions. Pour prepared batter into the greased baking pan.
03 - Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Drop spoonfuls over cake batter, then gently swirl with a knife to achieve a marbled effect.
04 - Bake on the center rack for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
05 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine mashed strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir occasionally until mixture begins to simmer. Add cornstarch-water mixture; cook, stirring, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
06 - Pour cooled strawberry glaze over completely cooled cake. Top with fresh strawberry slices and drizzle with melted white chocolate before serving.
