Easy Cranberry Meatballs (Print version)

Easy cranberry meatballs baked in a sweet-tangy glaze with just 4 ingredients. Perfect for holiday parties and game day in under an hour.

# Ingredients:

For the meatballs and glaze

01 - 2 lb (900 g) frozen fully-cooked meatballs (beef or turkey)
02 - 14 oz (400 g) can jellied cranberry sauce
03 - 12 oz (340 g) bottle chili sauce (such as Heinz)
04 - 2 tbsp (25 g) light brown sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Whisk the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl until mostly smooth. A few cranberry lumps are fine.
02 - Spread the frozen meatballs in a single layer in a 9x13 baking dish. Pour the sauce over and stir to coat every meatball.
03 - Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. This heats everything through and starts the sauce bubbling.
04 - Remove the foil, stir gently, and bake another 15-20 minutes until the sauce is thick and sticky.
05 - Let them sit for 5 minutes so the glaze sets. Serve warm with toothpicks.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served warm while the glaze is soft and glossy.
02 - Use a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish for even cooking.
